Yeah this is very true. I usually vote on anything I watch, but I hardly check the portal anymore. I almost only check stuff from my faves and the frontpage. The already low number of votes went down a bit more, since you can only vote when you are logged in. I get that it's supposed to stop spam voting, but many times people don't bother to log in to vote or a rare random visitor doesn't even have an account. Thanks for the reminder, I hope actively voting becomes a habit on NG again.

Oh, I didn't know about having to log in now to vote, that explains a lot about the low numbers of vote in relation to views. I guess we gotta take the good with the bad on that one.

I agree! I've been doing the same for a long while now. Voting on anything anyone sees here should be everyone's habit (unless you really don't know what you think of the submission)
